Anyone heard any rumours of a new petrol motor for Prado, must be due soon....
But it would have to have the V8 T/D as an option..

All i know its gonna be called the 200 series..
But it would have to have the V8 T/D as an option..

But how old is the 4.0 V6 in there at the moment? its a good motor!

I think the 4.0L was released in around 2003 with the 120 series Prado, so its only about 4 years old. Still got a few years to run I would have thought. Its a good motor as is, so i doubt Toyota will be replacing it so soon.

The Prado in the states has the 4.7ltr V8 in it but its called a Lexus GX470 not Toyota Prado.
