i have a 2006 defender 110 3" lift with 33" bfgs want to put 35in super swamper boggers just wondering if any one has had these tyres befor wat do u think of them? and do i need to change or modify anything to fit 35s will they rub? off set rims ? any help will be good thanx.
06 Defender 110. 3"ome Lift, 33" bfg muds, arb bar, 9500xp warn winch, tjm rails an steps, cibbie spotys, hf.....
yeh aparently on defender 2" spring lift and you can fit 35s no probs but i dont no.. height i will be fine just worried about width i think ill definetly need an offset rim then should be ok.

boggers
with a 3" lift you should be nearly alright, pending your uptravel. i have 2-2.5" lift and run 35 creepy's with some flare trimming. the boggers from memory have a pretty square edge on the tread pattern so might stick out a bit further then other 35's. i presume you mean 35 x 12.5's
my rims are 15 x 8 with 4" space either way (i forget the diff between negative and positive offset)
i presume you are doing alot of mud driving? otherwise there are alot more prob better tyres on the market.

tyre
do boggers come in 10.5's, 11.5's? they normally only come in wider sizes don't they?
but the swampers TSL's, Q78's? and others come in the narrower sizes. not many brands come in a 35 and narrower then a 12.50. swampers are supposedly a pretty good allrounder, boggers (although i haven't had any) are mainly good in mud and as a rear wheel tyre - not much good as a steering tyre as no lateral support for traction, some people even say this about M.T claws.
have you found out what companies manufacture a 35 x 10.5/11/5? and R16?

boggers
hah well you learn someting everyday.
mate i would lean toward a simex centipede in that size over a bogger.
but i couldn't say what would be the best tyre (in my modest opinion) until i new all the potential choices, and the terrain you drive (once again just my opinion - i am not an expert, just from my exp. and what others have told me)
i had 35 x 10.5 'pedes and enjoyed them. now got 35 x 12.5 (i don't think they make narrower) maxxis creepy crawlers and yes they are a better tyre for me and my car. they don't dig as easy in the loose stuff as the pede and generally more traction.

creepys
mate i haven't bought 'new' tyres for sometime. i just scout these forums for near new 2nd hand numbers that are usually alot cheaper, i think the 5 cost me about $250 each, and at the time they were around the $360ish mark new, mine had lost maybe 5% tread on road driving.

Not quite a 2006 defender..., but a 1993 D110 before the slight shell mod.mimmo321 wrote:i have a 2006 defender 110 3" lift with 33" bfgs want to put 35in super swamper boggers just wondering if any one has had these tyres befor wat do u think of them? and do i need to change or modify anything to fit 35s will they rub? off set rims ? any help will be good thanx.
As for the Boggers, yep, I like them for what I do. They be 35x16 on 14" wide rims (at 4psi in pic). Piccy taken at Jambo 05.
