This follows on from some conversation with Shadow about what the stock height of a 60 Series is. I'll put the info I have in point form so it is easier to read.
* I had read on IH8Mud that the centre of the bub to the bottom of the wheel arch is 19" front and 18" rear. This is for a stock vehicle.
* I have an old Overlander magazine from 1985 that road tests OME suspension, where they drive a standard HJ60 and compare it to a HJ60 fitted with OME suspension. In that article it states that the stocker HJ60 has a clearance of 45mm from the bump stop to the top of the axle (front)and 65mm at the rear.
* I have OME Dakar springs (extra HD) in the front and the original rear springs reset with an extra leaf in the rear. I also have extended shackles (1" lift rear and 1 1/4" lift front) and a 2" bodylift. Measuring from the middle of the hub to the bottom of the wheel arch the distance is (parked on flat ground) 24" front and 22 1/4" rear. So according to the info that I got off IH8Mud I have a 5" lift in the front and a 4 1/4" lift in the rear. This sounds about right - 2" spring, 1" shackle and 2" bodylift = 5". I reckon the rear is right too as it looks to be sagging just a little.
* My front and rear bumpstop measurements are 105mm front and 125mm rear. If I go off the bumpstop measurements I found in the Overlander magazine then I only have a 60mm lift front and rear - 2" spring and 1" shackle = 75mm. Remembering that the bodylift doesn't come into the equation with this measurement.
* I can only guess that maybe the bumpstop measurements in the Overlander magazine aren't correct, or my springs have 15mm less lift than I thought.
This is the info that I have gathered about my vehicle. It is possible that my measurements are out due to wear in bumpstops etc. Maybe not all 60s were the same height or had the same springs from new.

i have 3" HD OME Rear springs
and 2" HD OME Front Springs
my bump stop measurements are
Front - 80mm
Rear- 120mm
So going bye overlanders specs i only have 35mm lift in the front and 60mm in the rear, the springs are only a year old, I know for sure OME springs are s*** but maybe overlanders specs arnt the best either.

ok well i still have factory suspension, and when i measured it in the old thread i had 480 rear (18.9")
515 front (20.3")
Thats from centre of hub to bottom of wheel arch.
Now the vehicle was my parents previously, and it definantly has never ever had the springs out.
Heck, it got its first set of bushes after id taken posession of it.
So do i have a factory suspension lift, or do the pov pack (what i have) ride higher???
