hey guys

i am from eastern suburbs in melbourne. have got an l28 turbo on gas and would like the get the dizzy recurved to get the most out of it.

its got a problem atm where it likes has a built in rev limiter. its weird.

will just start with a dizzy recurve anyway.

any good places that are cheap or reasonably priced??

if your running the standard points setup (I had the bushes/bearings and weights done) dont even bother mucking around with them, go after market dual point or electronic, worth every Dollar!!!! My ex MQ was a missile, was good seeing the big brother 4.2 GQ's in the rear vission mirror squerming...... ohh by the way do not even bother with the nissan ZX range of electronic dizzies either, I wasted $400 on them and the fragile magnets were very brittle.....

got the dizzy done. runs a heap better off boost but its still a little fluffy up top. i think i need an msd the standard ignition cant keep up?

What sort of electronic ignition?? You need a decent ignition module to drive a high output coil, the petronix unit may struggle if it cannot run a proper electronic ignition coil. High energy coils have lower primary resistances and draw more current, if the module cant handle at least 4 amps then you'll need to upgrade it.
You can set the plug gaps down to .6mm and see if that helps, this will help to isolate the issue. If there is improvement then you need more secondary output. Speak to Micheal at ICE(9532 6000) for big output modules. Weak valve springs can also be the cause of what your'e describing.
