They aren't working as the proportioning/load valve is sensing there is no load due to the vehicle being raised.

Mine has 5" lift and I adjusted the proportioning/load valve fully down. The valve is mounted to the rear suspension cross-member and is connected to the rear of the diff pumpkin via an arm and the valves mounting holes are elongated for adjustment. This wasn't enough so I also made up a plate with several tapped holes to suit the plate which mounts to the diff pumpkin. This allowed several different adjustments to raise the mounting plate until I was happy.

I put up with bad brakes until I made these adjustments and now they are as good as they have ever been  Wish I had done this a long time ago

This sorted my brake issues out ;)

Brake shop should be able to set the rear pressures after the lift for you - at least that way you know it will be back to factory specs. But it wouldnt be hard to make up some brackets to compensate for the suspension lift then just get the experts to do the final adjustment. At least thats what I'd do :D
