Trying to eliminate a few things,does anyone know when water is in your fuel does it stall at low revs?
And ive heard that putthing methylated spirits in your fuel can get rid of it?

i may be wrong but the standard zook fuel filter has a water trap.. so could just be a clogged filter or jet..

It can stall a low revs , but normally water manifests itself more like a stuter , or turning ignition on and off could be at idle or full song or any
where in between , check all vacumn connections and electrical conections first , drain carb fuel bowl ,
if it iswater metho will dilute it and your motor can burn it .

Not sure if the metho is a recomended proceedure for a fuel injected motor though , as it will change the octane rating and probly cause the knock sensor to freak out .

In my Zook, water in the fuel usually ended up starving her after prolonged climbs or speed.

Easy fix was to disconnedct the filter (the rear one) and blow it out. That'd keep me going until I could get a new one.

When water gets in the fuel it generally just gunks up the fuel lines and small microorganisms began to grow. It usually doesn't effect the power of the engine, but you will feel it through fuel consumption.

Fuel Doctor is one product that can help with this as it sends the water to the top of the tank, so that it can be burnt and not stay in there long enough to do any damage.
