There is more than one Peter Sterling.

To do this swap now your going to have to go through a ICV. Rules have recently changed in QLD regarding body swaps.

FIND A GOOD ENGINEER BEFORE YOU DO ANY THING, DO NOT LISTEN TO THE PERSON ON THE PHONE IN QLD TRANSPORT REGARDLESS OF WHAT POSITION THEY HOLD.

Deal with one person and one person only through the process of the build. Mines also a hybrid which they are wanting me to register as an ICV. If it doesn't sell I will look into getting it registed down this avenue.

Thats all

After speaking with another engineer today. The info i have posted and Buddy has posted above may not be entirly correct. As soon as we have more info i will reply here again. Seams like Buddy may have been given a bum steer by someone at DOT when trying to get his Hilux Registered.

There is a lot of info that they didnt know when he did his. They accepted it as just a plain old chassis swap. Needed a surugate chassis number and all done at transport. But like I said a lot of info was not volunteered.
