Recently crossed the Wonnangatta river and the water came up to the window. New truck. Scared? Yes!! Gets the heart beating tho. But several weeks later still have condensation in the passenger light. Drivers side is now ok as removed the globe on a hot day and it cleared but the passenger side has the air cleaner in the way. Has any one else had these problems? Has any one tried fitting breater hoses to their headlights??

Yeah, tried drowning mine at the Logan Extreme night run. On mine the headlights come out the front. Have installed two small tubes, one down the bottom that drains water out and one up the top feeding air from compressor. Had to replace my headlight globes and after a while it gets expensive. Was cheaper and has not dedgraded the lights as its not that noticable.

I just drilled a 1/8 hole in the bottom of each.

I cleared out the water by removing the globe on a hot day for an hour or two. Went away a couple weeks later and did the same crossings and the same thing has happened again.
When I got my car serviced at Nissan I asked them about it and they ordered me in a NEW set of lights to replace them.
Will pick them up next week. Apparenly there is a breather undeneath them which I intend to extend to the upper firewall and will hopefully fix the problem.
