Just received my gq today. Needs a little body work, but it is in relatively good condition. very basic except for ac. I noticed that there were not seatbelts on the back seat. Is this normal? Thinking of upgrading the seats especially the back seats (bench). A bit lower than the old mk ute though. Springs seem to be in good condition as well

Only if you wish to donate regularly to the cops.

Lawrence no this is not usual, they must have a seatbelt for every seating position. They need to be lap-shash for outboard seating positions & a minimum of lap for centre positions.
Good to see your answers are as useless as ever Bogged

Thanks. What type of backseat would you recommend for the most comfort that these 4bys come with?(especially for a long journey). Also is it normal for the rear to sit a bit higher than the front?

Lawrence, the back seat in these things just are not comfy. If you wanted to make it moreso then you would have to have it re apholstered.
