Coil Spacer Q's

Post by rosie »

Hi all, I was going to order up a set of coil spacers but the company reacons the part number is the same for front and rear.

Is this the case or is something sus?

I would like 30mm rear and 15mm front spacers.

Thanks, Ben

Vitara coil spacers

Post by Impulsive »

Hi Ben,

Just be aware that the Vitaras are NOT a 1:2 ratio, or a 1:1.5 ratio in the front. I have found them to be about 1:1.7, so you should make your calculations accordingly.

As an example, by using a 25mm coil spacer, I got about 43mm lift.

Having said that, my vehicle is a SWB H/T, so that may have impacted on the result too.

Regards,
