I have a set of CAT air horns run off a ARB compressor.

Any horn is legal as long as they dont play tunes.

Word of warning

Train horns hurt your ears if you are close

We use a smaller one when someone is on the loco near them during shunting I have been given an ear ringer a couple of times when someone has used them & I have done the same to others

I have similar setup to patrolden and it scares the daylights out of people, good for getting people out your way cos they think a big Kenworth is about to run them over! Mine runs great down to 70psi then starts to drop out.
