anybody had the drama of breaking the studs in the front that hold the free wheeling hubs on?
how did you overcome this problem?
i was think of drilling out the holes and tapping a bigger thread in the hub and using hi tensile bolts instead of the pissy little ones with the cones washes. i wasnt ging to worry about using cones, just drill the holes so the bolts are a tight fit.

i used to break them all the time.. sum ppl put 10 mm studs and cones out of the rear of the 100 series to fix it...
i couldnt be stuffed friggin round with havin to re dril the collets tho.. so i got sum high tensile socket head bolts and used those in place of the 8mm studs.. i aslo redrilled my 8mm dowels to 10mm ones.,.
so far so good.. if this doesnt work i will jsut be redrilling the studs to 10mm and using socket head bolts again but without the collets..
a fair few ppl have done this with sucsess
