Hey guys,

I’m doing this unit at tafe at the moment where I had to choose a product with a moderate degree of buyer decision involvement, being a 4x4er and Nissan fan, I chose the GU Nissan Patrol.

The next step of the assignment is where you guys can help me. I need to interview a few people that have purchased or had experience with this product. So if you have a spare 5 mins could you help me pass this course by answering the questionnaire below. Just reply to the questionnaire or copy and paste it or you can even PM me it.

Thanks

1. What model is your patrol?

2. What were the steps of your decision making?

3. What made you choose the GU Nissan Patrol?

4. How long have you owned the car for/how much experience have you had with this car?

5. What size engine does it have?

6. Did particular options/accessories on this vehicle out weigh competitor’s vehicles?

7. What would be the best feature of the GU Nissan Patrol?

8. Would you do anything to improve this vehicle from factory?

9. How old are you

17-25 26-35 36-45 46-55 56+

10. Does this vehicle

*Fail to meet you expectations
*Meet your expectations
*Pass your expectations

11. Is the price of your vehicle or experienced vehicle (ranging from $66,240 - $75,690 depending on engine, size and model)

*To Low
*Just Right
*To High

12. What is your overall thought on the GU Nissan Patrol?

1. What model is your patrol?
99 model GU
2. What were the steps of your decision making?
I wanted one ever since I saw them, I guess the steps were can I afford one - Yes, Test drive a few, buy the one that was in the best condition for the purchase price I had in mind
3. What made you choose the GU Nissan Patrol?
Family had nissans for years and they had proven to be very durable, drove one loved the way it felt and handeled, torque etc etc.
4. How long have you owned the car for/how much experience have you had with this car?

I owned mine for 4 years, 120,000kms I had heaps of experiance with the car, it took my wife and I all over aus sometimes way overloaded, but it never really missed a beat (until it caught fire ... but that was not a fault of the vehicle)

5. What size engine does it have?
4.5 litre petrol

6. Did particular options/accessories on this vehicle out weigh competitor’s vehicles?
No.. as far as I was concerned there were no compeditior vehicles unless you count a unimog

7. What would be the best feature of the GU Nissan Patrol?
Unbreakable dependability

8. Would you do anything to improve this vehicle from factory?
Yes, raised suspension for batter off hiway ability, larger more agressive tyres, get rid of the factory side steps (plain annoying), upgraded lighting, better freeer breathing exhaust, replace steel wheels with stronger items not prone to devloping cracks in the spokes.

9. How old are you

17-25 26-35 36-45 46-55 56+

10. Does this vehicle

*Fail to meet you expectations
*Meet your expectations
*Pass your expectations

11. Is the price of your vehicle or experienced vehicle (ranging from $66,240 - $75,690 depending on engine, size and model)

12. What is your overall thought on the GU Nissan Patrol?
The second i can afford another I will.. It is one of my all time favorite vehicles to drive. Despite being driven hard it did everything asked of it, the only issues it had were a result of an accident, or neglect.
I just wish they made a dual cab GU ute.

It fitted my requirements in terms of offroad ability, on road manners, looks, affordability, practicality, no too old, easily and afordable repaired, made the wife happy.

Picked it up last Thursday :D

12. What is your overall thought on the GU Nissan Patrol?
Bloddy brilliant. Friends have had GQ's and this is the next best thing. I'm an ex-Toyota driver and am absolutly satisfied with the swap. I would not go back. I'm already anticipating the new big TD engine they have to bring out to rival the new Cruiser 4.5 twin turbo one recently released.
GU 4.2 TD Garrett BB Hi-flow, M8274 + Bells & Whistles with plenty of fruit still on the list!

Dont bother with surveys mate, just make the results up yourself :D
It is quicker and much easier to create results leaving you with more time to do things that you'd rather be doing!

You gotta learn to play the game!! ;)
