Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Heya guys... and girls im chasing some poly body lift blocks. Now i no there is a bloke on here that makes them, well several blokes on here actually, and if you are the blokes or no them can you just re in this thread cuz im in need of some, to do a tray in about 75mm+... Cheeers

Why not buy a metre or so of 75x50x2+mm wall box if your worried about strength just cap the ends mine had 50x50 box uncaped and never bent and it did some loads before it coped a tube tray any dramas or if you want to know more give me a call you've got my number

I cant remember exactly but there was a thread in the rover section about using the polyurethane rollers off a boat trailer. Cut them down to whatever size you want and they are pre-drilled for a bolt too.

Not too sure on legalities/strength though.

last i heard QLD transport was only approving steel/alloy body lift blocks. If i was you id contact qld transport (you are supposed to get approval before you install the body lift) and see what they are willing to approve.

What sort of vehicle do you have?

Ive used the blue 75mm parralell polly boat rollers now for a few different vehicles and they are great. I even removed some from a vehicle used hard off road and they showed no signs of wear. The rollers are dunbier and are 300mm long.

DOT sucks in qld was going to try get all mine legal but after i herd that even when engineered they can still defect you i thought why bother. yeah boat rollers would work ok Flynn had these but the copper that busted him didn't could have been because they were loose tho. PM him about it if you want to know more. making some sttelies up toda so i'll post up some pic's

do you mean body lifts specifically? or your car in general?

You cant engineer a bodylift in QLD. It can only be approved by QLD transport, through prior written approval, and then after installation inspection.

If your car is engineered correctly then they cant defect you for it....

Hey guys, yeh we just cut out a wall in a steel frame house, so i just took a section af the wall home and hey what do you no its 50x50 box! so im sorted. pitty i just copped that major setback of another accident, absolute bullsh*t.

this is her to date, after the accident so i dont have a bar flexing alright i guess just need longer shockies, i found out thats why its not working to its full advantage, i took the shocks out of the front and its way better flex.
