two nights ago i was mounting my new winch with the father inn law when he said that my tyres look a bit down so i pumped them up to 38 psi ( 33 bfg muddies)
Any way i was driving home thinking it was great when the dreaded shakes came back, F%&K IT . So after a bit of thought my tyres being down in pressure, sort of worked like a dampner or so i think

What is every ones verdict, Should i be lashing out and buying a new steering dampner

Check all your front bushes especially thr panhard bushes. Probly the extra weight of the winch has made it worse for you.

All the bushes amd shit under the front are not to bad i think it may have some thing to do with the tyre pressures cause the shakes have been geting less as the tyres have been lossing pressure but back real bad now there pumped up

The lack of pressure is only masking the problem. Get it fixes now before it gets any worse. You will find many posts on this subject if you do a search.

Are you on leaves? Check your u-bolts for loosness/stretching, check all steering joints, and kingpins/wheel bearings. How is your wheel balance. STeering dampeners and low tyre pressure are only bandaids, masking the problem. Fix it properly.
