Boosting the turbo on a 2.8 GQ

Am wanting to go to 33" tyres on my GQ but don't want to suffer the drop in power going from 31s to 33s. To overcome the power drop, I have thought about boosting the turbo to compensate. Has anyone done this and roughly how much would it cost? Also is it an ok mod to do on these engines given there relatively small size?

If pushed to hard the head can crack, in regards to tuning it, if you raise the boost to 14-15psi, get a good ic, bigger exhaust, adj the fuelpump, 1/2 to 1 turn clockwise, adj. the boost compesator to give slightly more fuel of boost in order to get more low down torque, your truck will be no slower with 33" than a stocker on 31", been there done that.
Now I have 35" tires and 250hp on it, a lot of bolt on mods though, turbo, pump, ic, water injection, LPG injection, zorst, etc............
Use your head when you drive it and you would be fine.

In other words if you up the fuel to match extra Boost .
You must Buy and pay close Attention to the Exhaust temp gauge.
Including anyone else` who may drive your truck.
And reduce the right foot before the top of a hill so you don`t get
things to hot
And More to the point don`t cool things off to quickly which will crack heads.
If you can do this go for it as the car will go very very well and will surprise
the 4.2 gang and give them the poops.
