1uzfe into 93 surf auto

Post by bribiesurf »

Guys I am looking into doing this conversion and would like to known the tricks and traps of this.
The vehicle is a 93 Hilux surf 2LTE with the A434F auto. so it has an EFI style wiring Harness and Electronic speedo input.
1. Does any model of the UZ family of engines physically, just bolt straight up to this transmission?
2. How similiar are the engine mount postions to the 2LTE
3. Are there extractors made for this application?
4. Are there many cooling/plumbing issues associated with this conversion
5. What is the best front cut to get for this conversion as far as sumps and clearance etc, the wiring is not a problem for me to sort out as long as it's a good running front cut.
6. who is the best supplier of the front cuts and parts in SEQ?

I've done a few conversions of v8's but just would like to get good solid tips and some ballpark costings before starting on this

Regards,
Tony

Try searching mate, seems to get asked once a week of late. It's too much to re-type all the time :?
