G'day

im wanting to hone out the engine clyinders on my GQ TB42, in the manual it says to use a 280grit stones, can a 240 be used instead?

any difference at all beside ones more corse

Yeha mate i cant see it being a problem.. Biggest thing with honing is it needs to be pretty much spot on otherwise you can have problems,, oil burning,, long time to bed in.. yes the 240 is a little more course than the 280
