Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi,I have a 02 gu wagon and the drivers door lock assembly seems to have shit itself it no longer latches the door shut,When it did shut even when in lock mode you could still open the door.

I have removed the assembly for inspection but nissan in their wisdom have made it so you can't dissasemble it for repair.

Is this a common thing to fail on gu's,,Has anybody got one laying around????.

Hate to think what a genuine one's worth???.
