regulator problems
i own a 85 lux 4y . in the past year i've gone though about 3 regulators. if i jus leave it alone and don't fix, my battery still charges but my car runs rough on idle and my alternator squeals for the first minute or so after starting. if i unplug, no squeal, car runs fine, but no charging. is my alternator stuffed and this is why the regulator is blowing? sometimes the regulator lasts for 4 months. the last 1, 2 days. any feedback would be appreciated
