Outer Limits 4x4 Board

i want to change my 2000 GU ute 4.2 TD manual into an auto. I have been told a GQ box will fit up with out any difficulty. whats peoples thoughts

i dont think it does. From what i remember there is a spacer inbetween the GU bell housing and gearbox therefore a GQ auto box will not reach the output on the engine properly. I cant remember who did it but there was talk here not long ago about it.

dont get me wrong, they solved the issue but it wasnt as simple as bolt out bolt in. I think it was a fairly simple fix too.
