anyone tried one?
i keep seing them in the monthly newsletter i get sent and im tempted to buy one to see how they are but i dont want to be a test dummie and get some crap.
for $500 it would seem like an expensive mistake

Ummm. What do you do that you need a $500 torch?

That would buy mucho batteries for the old Big Jim - which was more than I ever needed.

The trusty old Dolphin has always done all I've ever needed.

OK, so I'm a miserable old poor karnt.

They are down to $150 pair on eBay if you want to make one by converting one of these handheld spotlights.
