GQ petrol engine into MQ

The swap is not listed in the MQ Bible, so I'm wondering what the probs are in swapping a GQ 4.2 petrol TB42 into a 82 MQ with the P40.
It seems like a logical swap, but since no one seems to do it there's got to be good reason! Where's the catch?

if your going to that effort, why not go with a 350 Chev

Quite a lot of firewall massaging I believe. You can't bolt a TB42 to an MQ gearbox, and the GQ gearboxes are big lumps of things even compared to the MQ ones.
A better bet would be a V8 conversion with an MQ gearbox or an auto. Marks make kits I'm sure...

x2
chev fits easy, heaps of parts, easy to find, more power, Castlemain rod shop, Marks and Dellows all make kits to fit it.
Ive got a 383 in a 1981 mq ute, using a dellow bellhousing, sits back a fair way - good for weight distribution, and its probably lighter than a tb42.
need any more reasons
