Footbrake is applied, left-indicator slows to half-speed??

Suzuki Sierra SJ40 LWB with Toyota 5K motor.
As above. Only happens on left indicator when foot brake is applied.

does it happen any other time? whats the wiring like?

the wires could be exposed

earthing to the brake light somewhere would be my guess... brake light goes on and draws current from the indicator?

if you have a trailer socket try checking that
