I have a full time 80 series and need some info on free wheeling hubs. Are they worth it? do they save on fuel costs? Any info would be great!!
cheers

freewheeling hubs will stop the wheels from driving, but your diff center and tailshaft will still be acting as constant 4wd, to fix it you need the part time kit available from mark's 4wd adapters or 4wdsystems
they are fairly easy to install, pull someof the covers off the rear of your transfer case and put the new gear in
for the other questions
better fuel economy, more throttle response, more power, less backlash when you take your foot off throttle fast

Yeah if i had one i'd convert it as it reduces load on engine(as said above) and your front diff/seals etc will last longer as it's not constantly turning
