Trailer Suspension Design

I have to find the time to building a camper trailer to make room for the kids. I am looking at resources for trailer suspension design.
Does anyone have any good reference material?
I figure travel doesn't matter too much, as it will always have 2 wheels on the ground, cept if I go too fast, then it flies....
What does matter is soaking up the bumps. So medium springs with dampers it is. I ahve never seen a traierl with soft flexy leaf springs. I figure work out the total sprung mass and find springs that are 35% comrpessed at that, with the correct length.
I reckon I could make a trailing arm setup with coils and shocks pretty easily, but see other interesting designs like www.tracktrailer.com who does the TVans.
Any edumicated knowledge appreciated.
Thanx
Paul
