hey guys

im after an autoelec to fix/upgrade my alternator on my 89 SWB patrol TD42,
its not charging properly and the compressor on the back is leaking alot of oil, if people know someone good or a general workshop that ive missed who work on alot of diesels and/or 4wds.

cheers guys sorta need this fixed soonish to be ready for queens b'day.
cars with alloy bullbars should be shot to the sun.

cheers mate someone has already told me of someone to rebuild it and the compressor, im up in pascoe vale.

does $180 sound right for a full rebuild of a TD42 alt and compressor?

Sounds about right if its staying standard and not being modded - as in not upping the amperage etc.
You would mainly be paying for labour...
