Has anyone got one of these and able to get it to work correctly with OziExplorer?
After setting all the settings correct, NMEA up/down speed etc, I am still getting the GPS Reading about 1cm off the track always.

Are u using a stock map or a custom map home made?
I have a mouse style and have the same problem only on a couple sections of a couple maps.
Usually NEMA on 9600 is what it needs. also place reciever on roof or bonnet.
can u get it working ok with tomtom or similar at all.

Yep I'd say it's probably the map you're using.
The Gmouse only supports the WGS84 datum, so that's not the issue.
You can test whether it's the map or not by putting the current coordinates into google earth/maps and see if it says you're where you are or not. If it shows the right spot, obviously your GPSr is giving ozi the right coordinates, and it's just the map is not calibrated accurately.

I don't think that the validity of a serial number could have any impact on the accuracy of the position.
MjWatt - if you need an accurate map of your area, PM me.

Im using the Topo Maps brought from GPS OZ or OZGPS. Seems to be on more then one map. I'll hook up another GPS and see what happens
