We had to make a swing away carrier for a dual cab hilux.

ive seen that lux running around town, nice tidy rig.
im not a huge fan of wheel carriers on utes, i think it spoils the look of the truck, but thats just my 2c worth

We actually were going to make it from box section but the bender arrived that day and I wanted to bend something so he ended up with a tube one.

sits fairly high, does it restrict vision much?
i guess youd satill have more vision than a wagon though.

if u put it any lower u will start loosing depature angle
an get it hung up on every thing

now you have to start puting them on wagons. it looks stronger then the kaymar ones. what did you use for the swivel?

I like the corner wraps! Swivel looks like round bar stock with trailer axle bearings to pivot on...

we hadhubs machined up that use trailer bearings.
