Hey guys I am having a problem with my BJ42 3B turbo diesel, when stopping on really steep inclines whilest offroading as forward momentum has been lost the truck is stalling.

Mine did that a while ago, 14b. It was a split in the fuel line. It was sucking in air.
You will find it will be wet around where it is split.

Have you checked your oil level lately BJ? When the oil is low and on inclines the motor will shutoff when it begins to starve of oil, thats why 3B's are so hard to kill. I believe that may be your problem, when was the last time she was serviced? Have you spotted any new oil leaks?
P.S Did you get my cheque in the mail?
Regards Ben

Further info that may be important I noticed today that there is a second oil pressure sender for the turbo which is installed about 4 inches forward of the oem sender.

may be an electrical problem with the low oil pressure shutdown,
maybe low oil pressure on idle too??

Had the exact same problem with a mates 3B, he broke one of the engine mounts and when under load the motor would rock and kink the fuel line. Took us forever to find it as we had only just replaced that engine mount a few days earlier.
