Hi all - after some advice.
I am looking at twin cab 4wd utes for work, with canopy.

Would also be weekend/holiday 4by, but don't do anything realy difficult anymore, mainly c grade stuff - tallarook, wombat, high country etc and towing camper trailer on holidays - outback SA etc.

After some advice on Hi Lux (have owned 86 and 96 in the past - very happy with both) Courier/Bravo, Navara, Triton
What is your opinion? Petrol or diesel?
Looking at around 2002-2004, less than 100000kms

Any info appreciated!!

What about the Land-rover 130 - more room and payload than all of the above, and more economical too.

I have had 2 Mazda Bravo's and wouldn't go there again. Too many breakages for my liking.

The previous Hilux's would be hard to go past. Proven reliability. I wouldn't go for one of the new models tho.

The Navara's have really picked up their game and would be worth while getting.

The Triton's have never been much cop. Poor chassis and suspension design.

I would go the Turbo Diesel over the petrol models. But they are more expensive to run due to the increased servicing (most will need to be serviced every 5,000 kms)

Over the past few years the Hilux & Navara have been pretty much head to head in all of the magazine reviews.

Thanks for that Johnno - I am thinking 2003-2004 HiLux

Suzuki Boy - you spend too much time on here.......

And the Landy is too big.
