GQ winch mount without bar

Hi all,

I'm getting a 10k pound warn off a mate soon, and saw a GQ drive through Yaraglen the other day with just a fairlead mounted on the front of the standard bumper. Got me thinking this is something i'd like to tryand get away with.

I was hoping if I got plasma, I could have the roller-less fairlead, so pretty much a flush front bumper - no sharp protusions to get me in trouble.

Does anyone know who's got this and where they got it done? Does the bumper have to be spaced forward? Do ARB richmond do this kind of thing, i'm tired of driving 40-50minutes out of town to get my work done.

Thanks inadvance,

Jimmy

P.S. If anyones got some pics of what i'm talking about can they put them on please?

the 10k warn is nearly 30kg heavier than the 9000. so front springs will also need changing. Front end of the GU sank nearly 15mm with the 10k on, so went with a 9000...

as for the bar, cant help u, but plenty of GQ winch bars round forsale cheap

if ur good at fabricating you can have my bent winch bar for $50 pick up , but you will need to buy the mount kit and straighten it, i might have the original mount somewhere but no bolts sorry. im in uftg btw

You're also forgeting that a 10k low mount will melt plasma. You need a hig mount, a Premier/Come-Up or one of the new generation low mounts to use plasma.
