if you are talking about the 4.9s....they are pefect for 31s. haven't been able to fault them and best mod you can do to increase your driveability and control when going slow.
buy them here
http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com better service than trail tough

They are U.S based companies and a complete transfer is too heavy, they won't ship. I've already enquired. They will quite happily ship gears, gaskets,bearings & shafts to rebuild yours.

That answers that question! Thanks!
Will save for a few more weeks and unless some thing pops up then there the go!
SHould i go for 4.9's or the ones they say for 33's?The biggest tyre i will go is a 32 so in the middle there somewhere!
Are they good to deal with?

They say the 4.9's are good for 31-32" tyres.
4.9 = 16% reduction
6.5 = 20% reduction
I'm sure someone has already worked out the % increase a 31 or 32 tyres is over stock... Post up..

No worries to deal with. Quick delivery. GUARANTEED parts.

Your right mad_zook was just having a dig!
Will wait a few weeks and if none pop up then i'll get them from the states!
It's not high range i'm worried about it's more the low for down hill so i'm not on the brakes all the time and so i don't have to slip the clutch!
Would any one be interested if i shot him off an email and asked if a few guys buy off him if he can do a deal? JUST A THOUGHT!
THANKS GUYS!

next week i was going to call him
most likly going to get the 6.4:1 which has 181% reduction in low an 17% reduction in high range ... which is the least amount of reduction in high range I've seen ... except for the tiny reductions
i was thinking on getting a Centerforce clutch at the same time ... so one less weak point to worry about

I got my gears from low range offroad, sean was good to deal with quick email responses up until I paid... they took about a week to get here, which I thought was bloody fast, gears and stuff look good and the instructions on their site are spot on and easy to follow, only "special" tool required is a bearing press, (and a dremel/die grinder for the 6.5:1) they cost me about $750AUD landed, haven't driven with them in off road, but on road the gearing on 30's and 4.1 diffs is too low, should be ok with 32's though (hopefully) otherwise the grinder will get another workout to fit something bigger

that is absolutely amazing jaffa, a mate bought 4.1's from BBM and they costed him 1300... these lowrange dudes are awesome,
going to definately get some when tax time rolls around, hopefully the aussie dollar will get stronger too
