Very boring question like most of mine I put up here but I need to ask it. I've taken the head off L28 in shorty. Thought i'd done a headgasket which I had but also had cracked head. All that is being taken care of. While head is off I'd like to clean carbon off tops of pistons without disturbing motor. What works well? Any suggestions?

take it to a decent mech, pay him about $120 to stick an engine flush thru it thats made just for removing carbon(forget name, will get back with that 2moz) and then walk away a happy man.
he will remover fuel line and run the engine for about 15 mins with this shit instead of fuel, then hook the fuel back up and go for a quick burn around the block for 5 mins watching the HUGE plume of black smoke poor out for the first 2 mins, then u get back in the car and notice a MASSIVE dif in performance.
works better for diesels, but petrols will still benifit so i recomend it.
