Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey All,

Chasing someone who can recommend an engineer in Brissy/Ipswich for a 6.5 TD chev conversion & 2" body lift in an 80. Preferably someone who has used an engineer to mod plate a fourby.

For the body lift you need to contact Queensland Transport as this has nothing to do with an engineer. You actually need to apply in writing to QT for approval. There is rarely an issue with getting approval.

And the engine conversion should be almost a simple bolt in job with the kits available today and will just need a modification plate fitted. In QLD there are very few things you need or can get approval with an engineers report. For a mod plate you will find any place that does roadworthy's will be able to point you to someone who can approve this.

if you're wanting someone to do the 6.5 TD conversion for you, LinQuip in Brendale used to do this stuff all the time. If they're still around give them a call for any info.

We got the XB/Cruiser being done by Phil Harris at Carpliance...

Seems to know his stuff and is familiar with mods of street and 4wd rigs..

Also a good drool if you're into mustangs..
