hey ya.. i got s GU 2.8td no suprises its gutless what can i do is it woth putting in a chip and zaust or a new motor all together?????????

the budget can adjust if the chicky doesnt know about it but the cheaper the better......

Don't waste your money on getting more out of the 2.8 it's already at full stretch. Convert it to something, Gen 3 1/2 cut with auto and overdrive to utilize your 4.6:1 gearing it'll motor, the old Holden EFI engine and auto T700 is a bit cheaper and still a good option. Getting a 1/2 cut means you get ECU, loom and all the accessoires for the front.

Best thing my mate did with his 2.8 TD GU was drop in a chev V8...

put on a larger exhaust and chip it/up the boost.
you will be surprised how much better it will be.

thats the easy option.

The expensive albeit much more powerful option is to chev it. ( diesel or petrol)
