It's only a joke boys, they are having a lend of you./
Dont believe Rover naught, he doesnt run a muffler.
You can get muffler bearings from any auto shop that stocks Indicator (blinker)Fluid.
I tried Moly after opening the muffler but the bearings siezed again.
Definately indicator fluid or KY as it is used in tight hot places too.. It also takes the heat ok from globes..
If you cant get them out due to being siezed an aluminium magnet will help hold them whislt an old high compression hubcap wrapped in OEM duct tape can be used as a driver as long as you use it on a left handed hammer!

Seeing as I have a late model Defender, alas, my muffler bearings are sealed for life, without a drain or inspection plug.
However Land Rover, in their infinite wisdom contracted Texaco/Caltex to develop a specific, low viscosity molybdenum grease they named 'One Shot', which through parts rationalisation also found it's way into the front CV's.
This is where the infamous grease vs oil debate
really started.
