Go Hard or Go home
How to wire ARB Lockers
Did it last weekend after realising the dealer F*cked it.
5 wires each
Start with the compressor
5 wires
2 black - earth
1 power in (red)
1 power out (red + stripe)
1 dash light (blue)
5 pins - 2 on top, on middle left, 2 on bottom
top left - dash light
top right - earth
middle - power in
bottom left - power out
bottom right - earth
Repeat for Locker 1 and Locker 2
power in for locker 1 is the same colour as power out from compressor
power in for locker 2 is the same colour as power out from locker 1
You know it's right if
1. the 3 little bars ligth up when headlights on
2. the lockers wont activate without the compressor on
3. the front locker (2) won't activate without (1) being on first and the compressor
4. Each switch lights up when on.

This disagrees with what I found on the weekend. I'll have to dig to find out which is wrong.
This looks like how it came, and that way the lights are on always which sux, they get hot and are too bright.
I'll update when I know for sure how I did mine - from memory my last post is correct.

I haven't looked at the diagram, but my installation is ARB standard and sounds like the description - when dash lights are on some SUPER BRIGHT lights are on in the switches, and they get rather warm (but probably still not much more than 40 degrees.) The "ON" indicator is rather pathetic in comparison.me3@neuralfibre.com wrote:http://www.offroaders.com/tech/ARB-air- ... agrams.htm

I keep telling myself I'll stick a resistor in line sometime - but I doubt it will actually happen...
Thats exactly what mine did when I got it installed and what the wiring diagram matches how they were before I swapped them.
Had me buggered the other day after I put up what I did, then found the diagram and saw they were different.
I checked the switch manufactureres webiste and my wiring is correcit if it is the version i think it is.
Bet they changed switch models and didn't update the diagram.
If you follow my instuctions (they are from memory last weekend, so do double check) I bet it works much better.
ARB's work, but the lights are wrong.
