New at this game...Any questions I should ask the seller?


$8500 ONO 240,000km
1995 Toyota Duel Cab Hilux 2.4 L Diesel
Sound mechanical condition, reluctant sale, Great as a run about or famliy camping 4WD
A/Conditioned, Kenwood CD/Radio, Powersteering, bull bar
Has been a loyal vehicle for 2 years, just need something with a little more grunt and more current
Recently replaced:
Air Cond belt, Radiator, Brake System,Wheel cylinders, Front disc pads, calipers, Timing belt, crank seal, Altinator, Starter Motor, New battery, Clutch, Wheel seals, Front Swivel Hub, wheel bearings, rotors, muffler system, Great tyres OVER $5000 worth of repairs(reciepts avail)
Interior in great condition

what accessories are fitted. sounds like a lot of servicing work has been done, take it over the pits and have it looked at. could be a good buy.

2.4L Diesel? Are you sure its not 2.8!

thats what i was thinking... my ln106r is 95 and its a 2.8......

for sale soon too once i put some doors on the lhs. :armsup:

isnt anything under a 2.8L a petrol not a diesel?

Negative...

L - 2.2l diesel
2L - 2.4l diesel
3L - 2.8l diesel
5L - 3l diesel

All LN## designations are diesel motors, all YN## and RN### are petrol motors...

if it really is made in 1995 and the capacity is 2.4, then it is a PETROL!

Mate,

ask him when those repairs occurred - the ad said 'recently'

so did he do them all in one hit? (i.e. was it off the road - if so .. why?)

or are they spread over time (common) if so .. how recent is recent...
