Hi all I need help. '89 4.2 diesel patrol fuel guage dosnt work. Planing a trip to the cape soon and need to know how much go juice i have please help

If you have been driving it for a while you should know by now what your kpl is and you would know what your tank holds...........allow a safety factor and use your trip meter as a fuel gauge.........simple.

If you want to fix the prob then it could be anything from a buggerred sender unit to a fuse.
