they are fine! If only sometimes slow to engage and or dis-engage!
if you drive hard it would pay to weld some protection/ bash plate around at the bottom / back of the actuator on the diff.

make up a braket to cover the actuator on the back of the diff, this is in a bad spot and tent to cop a hammering and is very expensive to replace
the locker itself is pretty good, does take a little longer than an airlocker to engage, but with a mag dual solanoid speeds it up a fair bit
check the gq bible on the top of the page, scrol fown to the diff sectioon there is a thread in there with a little more info on them, I think from memory there should be the mag part number and a diagram on how to plumb them up, if not search and there is a couple of threads on it
the factory set up requires vac to engage and vac to disengage, this is why you need the dual solanoid, one inlet, two outlets, you can wire it on a two position switch, but I wired mine up using an always on relay and an arb rocker switch to go with the arm front locker and compressor switches on the dash, basically you wire the disengage side of the solanoid to the always on side of the relay and the the engage side to the switched side of the relay
PM me if you get stuck
Cheers

come to think of it I think I have the solanoid from when I parted the truck out here somewhere, I will have a look for it, if I find it you can have it cheap
