hi Guys

I just bought a Safari Granroad and was wondering about getting some information on it?
I"m in Canada so its Japanese import so there isn't much info around my parts on them.

I've had a few Surf but decided to try something different. anyone have anything I should be aware of and look out for?

thanks

I presume its a Y60 high roof? we know them here as a GQ patrol, check the GQ bible on the top of a page and a have a look through, there is a lot of info on them there, or ask the question here if you cant find what you want

sorry to mods if i can't mention another forum but if you
visit patrol4x4.com there is a canadian section now dedicated
to your country. there is a bloke on there called
canuck, hit him up for a copy of the fast parts cd and the patrol
factory workshop manual on cd.

Virtually all "Patrols" ib NZ are Jap import Safari Grandroads. I have 2 Grandroads and a Kingsroad and can assure you that they are the same mechanically as a Patrol but the spec level are higher and they are normally 24v. My Kingsroad is a 96 and so is 12v. You can use the 12v wiring diagrams in the Gregorys manual, but you need to spend a bit of time to cross reference colours. As I understand it they come out of the same factory using the same parts and they just put different badges on them.
