Will a GQ rear diff fit in an MQ housing?
Will an MQ centre bolt to a GQ crown wheel and pioion?
I have an AirLocked 4.3 MQ centre but the front diff is goin to be a 60's LandCruiser and they are all 4.1.
Thougths?

1. Yes, but you would need to use H260GQ with H260MQ and H233GQ with H233MQ etc. You may need to modify studs or housing to suit, but in theory it will bolt in the hole, as per below the axles won't work.
2.No, but its possible with some mods including side gears, bearings and so on.
3. The MQ rear diff you most likely have is a H233, 1.26" axle with 31 splines.
Most GQ rear diffs are H233B which have 1.31" axles and 33 splines. (whether disc or drum rear)
Your airlocker is probably a RD04, which with some work could go into the drum brake GQ RD24. But as for cost and benefit and work involved... up to the individual really... its all time/effort factor
Anything can be made into anything and so on..
