body help

what do i have to do to put a wt body on to a nt chassie can any one help me asap

Buy a couple of cases and call a few mates around to help with the lifting
I could be wrong (as usual) but I think its a straight swap
There is two types of body mount rubbers I have come accross (flat and coned)
Just use the rubbers originally off that chassis with the new body if they differ

I put a NT body on a WT chassis and most things bolted straight up. From memory some of the plugs going from body to engine/transmission werent the same, but that was an easy fix.
Someone asked this a while ago and there was a whole thread about it which i did small writeup if you want to search for that.

It will physically bolt up.
NT sierras don't have the switches to control EGR on the gearbox and you will need the NT handbrake cable as they are a bit different.
Can't confirm this but I have had a heap of trouble with handbrake cables when swapping stuff - the spacing on the bracket under the floor might be different.
All up a pretty straight swap.
A few years ago we did a body swap (WT HT to NT Soft top) in one day drive in drive out and the car drove a trip that night. This also included lockers, custom battery mounting and guard cutting so it can be done.

Early and late models have different wiring looms and plugs
These plugs are mainly for the transmissions switches
Some carbies have two solenoids some have one
Plugs on the dizzy are different
Oil and temp sensors are just spade connectors so are OK
There are differences with the emission vacuum thingos (on the front drivers side valve cover)
Speedo cable will be ok
You will need to bleed the brakes
Don’t forget to unplug the fuel sender unit in the tank
While the body if off do whatever other chassis or drivetrain work that is needed eg if your clutch is dodgey, it's heaps easier to replace it now than later from underneath
