Gday,
I have recently fitted a new timing belt on my @L, as well as a new tensioner pulley and spring and a new idler pulley, However now as soon as the car has been running the belt starts to slip towards the timing case. i have pulled it apart three times now and it just keeps doing the same thing,
has anybody else had this problem?
any suggestions would be great
cheers

did you refit the small tin plate that goes on the crank pully and then the front cover goes on and then ballancer. and have a good look at what angle the running surface of the tensioner is at if it's square with everything else it wont be that but if it sit's out this could also be the cause. Most likely the tin plate on crank pully but.
