Tailshaft Vs Cross Member (GQ)

I know its no secret that the tail shaft in the back of GQ's and probably GU's tend to kind of grind themselves away on the cross member at full droop. Mine has done it a bit with a 3" lift.
Now that the 5" lift is going in its going to get even worse.
The tail shaft has already been reveresed but it still hits. And i dont know how keen i am on heating up the cross member and bashing it in a bit to get maybe 10mm more clearance.
My question is how do you get around this? I want to get some big flex happening but the length of my shock, thus the length of my droop is going to be limited by the tailshaft grinding away at the cross member and potentially causing greater issues.
I think im going to have the same problem on the front driveshaft as well. Im going to give it a bit of a massage though so shouldn't be as bad, although who knows once the X-link goes in???
Cheers Ben
