Need more details dude, ie what year is it.

The rear green lights will always be lit. It is basically mechanical if it is a 1990 to 1999.

Edit - just read your other post - its a 92.

Lever right back 2H - green rear lights only. Forward one click 4H, front & rear green lights flash until go solid. Next click, centre diff lock orange light flash until go solid, final click low box all the lights flash until go solid.

The flashing measns there is potentially a descrepancy between where the lever is and what is actually happening. It is poroably just through a lack of use.
Do the front lights flash at all?

Put some LED globes in to replace the filament bulbs - last forever.
They are a standard T5 size for the warning lights and T10 size for the instrument cluster backlight.
I'm doing this at the moment using the white T5 LED globes for the warning lights and blue T10 backlights for the instrument cluster.
Looks awesome at night.
You can get these LED globes off Ebay.
Also a good upgrade is replacing the interior roof lights with the 31mm white Festoon LED globes - awesome brightness.
I'm lucky and found a shop here in Melbourne that sells them.

He just use to do mail order only from his website but recently set up a small factory in Boronia so you can buy them from there.
He's also got some other interesting other stuff like torches, headlamps, driving lights etc.
He told me that he's always looking for new stuff to expand his range.
