GQ Electric Window System

Hi,
I have a problem with the electric window system in my GQ. The driver's window works fine, but all other windows only work intermittently. I have checked the window switches with a multimeter and everything seems to be fine. The motors on the other windows work fine if I power them directly.

According to the wiring diagram, the system has an amplifier and a relay. Is it likely that either of these are to blame? What can I to find out what is causing the problem?

Thanks,
David

i used to have intermittent fault on my drivers door window, there is a circuit board with a relay on it, i gave it a spray of WD40 and its worked fine ever since.

i believe the relays are behind the glovebox . i had heaps of trouble with the pasenger door and although it tested fine it still ended up being a switch. maybe it is a broken wire?

mine crap out from time to time. It's the contacts in the switches on the driver's pod. Pull em apart and clean the contact surfaces with rasp or steel brush. Should work fine for a while.

Thats what it would most likely be, clean contacts with emery and then use vasoline on contacts. Drivers door is the main one but you might have to do the door ones if those switches dont work.
