2nd tank for Rodeo

Looking at dropping a 2nd hand genuine tank under the passenger side on my rodeo dual cab. Will be directly opposite OE tank. Heard that this has been done by a few people and was wondering were the exhaust was routed. Also how did you set up your filler and did you use fuel transfer to the OE tank or fuel cut over to the main fuel line.
