Crap in radiator

The Live axle 100's have a huge gap at the front between the bullbar and the radiators. It seems designed to suck up every grass seed and jam it into places where you'll never get it out. There is not even a cover between the AC Condensor and Radiator.
The IFS cars have a large shield there to stop much of this.
I'm thinking of making an allow "brush plate" to keep crap / sticks / stumps etc off my radiator and a/c condensor. Rely on airflow through grill to keep her cool.
Anyone done similar?
